In every wedding preparations, the soon-to-be bride will have to pick her bridesmaids. Usually, these are the closest women in her life. For Christine Quinn, this is a no-brainer!
Christine was dealing with the same pressures that every bride have to face. There are so many details to deal with but when it comes to her bridesmaids, she knew that there is nothing to worry about. In fact, this is something that excites her the most.
This is to ask her 89-year-old grandma, Nana Betty, to be one of her bridesmaids!
In fact, asking her Nana to be one of her bridesmaids is one of the best decisions that she made. This is because her grandmother is, without a doubt, the life of the party. Her nana is a charmer and she definitely charmed everyone at the wedding. The wedding was filled with laughter as Nana Betty impressed everyone with her wit and wisdom.
She said, “She had the entire wedding party laughing with her words of wisdom and funny comments throughout the day. Nana got on the party bus with the rest of the wedding party instead of ‘going home to rest’ but did not tell my mom (her daughter). She also danced the entire night away, including an adorable moment when she and my husband’s grandmother, Bellsie, danced together. It was amazing.”
Christine and Nana Betty have a very special relationship. This is why at her wedding, Christine was so happy to spend this special moment with her. In fact, Nana Betty even danced the night away with her fellow bridesmaids.
Christine said that her grandma told her that a person is only as old as they feel. And as for her, Nana felt young that day. She added, “She asked me about 10 times, ‘Are you sure.
’ and ‘Why would you want an old lady in your bridal party. ’” Even though Christine was not sure what to expect, she was glad that it turned out to be the best decision that she ever made for her wedding.
Christine also shared that her grandma has an amazing sense of humor and outlook in life. She also said that Nana Betty strives to emulate every day this is why everyone loves her.

For sure Nana Betty will continue to play a very important role in Christine’s life now that she is already married and will soon start her to grow her own family.
