An employee from Burger King recently celebrated 27 years as an employee of the fast-food joint. And what did he get in return from the company? According to TMZ, a goodie bag. Now, while the employee is obviously quite disappointed, he still is grateful for the employment. This is the story of Kevin Ford, a 54-year-old cook/cashier at the Burger King in Las Vegas. When asked about how his employer decided to celebrate his anniversary, he showed his goodie bag. Although he is definitely grateful for what he received, he does find it a little lackluster.

Speaking to TMZ, he went quite teary-eyed at the GoFundMe page that his daughter had set up for him. And the fundraiser was simply for him to meet his grandkids in Texas. At this point, the page has already managed to raise over $270,000! Kevin has mentioned that he would love to use this money to get a new car- an American, and hybrid.
