‘Poor’ Amber Heard was spotted Shopping at TJ Maxx with her Sister in Hamptons

It looks like Amber Heard is having a hard time after losing the defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Earlier this month, on June 1, 2022, the Virginia Court concluded the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and ruled in favor of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.

Johnny sued her for fifty million dollars for wrongly accusing him of being a horrible husband.

In response, Heard countersued him for a hundred million dollars by accusing him of setting up a “dirty campaign” against her and calling her claims” A blatant lie.”

The seven-member jury unanimously announced its verdict, stating that the actress had defamed her ex-husband through her 2018 op-ed and wrongfully accused him.

Ever since the court’s verdict, Amber has been in hot water; millions of people criticized her on social media and celebrated Johnny’s victory against her; not only this but pro-Johnny Depp supporters started different petitions on change.org to ban the actress from Hollywood, once and for all.

In her recent interview with NBC, the actress said she has not been getting any new work offers and is currently in a difficult financial situation.

According to the verdict, Amber has to pay 8.4 million dollars in damages to Johnny Depp.

Recently, the Aquaman star was spotted shopping at discount department store TJ Maxx in the Hamptons on Thursday.

The actress was seen shopping with her sister, Whitney Henriquez, who supported her throughout the legal battle against Depp.

According to TMZ, the 36-year-old actress was perusing racks for clothes and discussing white linen pants with her sister.

When people noticed that Amber Heard was shopping in the same store, they clicked a few pictures. The photos showed Amber wearing a white button-down shirt with a pair of baggy jeans, and her hair was tied up in a bun.

She immediately left the store when she saw people recording her and paying attention to what she was buying.

The outlet also approached people who saw her shopping and was told that while Amber was going from one rack of clothes to another, Whitney showed her purchases to an older woman and asked if they were good.

While it is still unknown what exactly she bought, it is pretty clear that the actress is going through a financial crisis following the trial. Currently, she has no movies or other acting projects in the pipeline, and she has to pay the damages to her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Previously her attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, told the NBC that Heard could not pay the huge penalty.

She said, “oh no, absolutely not. The actress can’t pay this money. Moreover, so much evidence was left out of the trial; it is so unfair. So, she will appeal, and she has some excellent grounds for it.”

She told the outlet that Heard’s career had been severely affected by this trial, and she will appeal the verdict.
