A 29-year-old bride died in Sydney, Australia, after she fell from a golf buggy that her husband was driving.
Marina and Robbie Morgan married at Doltone House in Sydney only ten days ago. All friends and family members attended their wedding ceremony.
The couple then headed north to celebrate their honeymoon in Queensland on Hamilton Island.

The accident occurred on Whitsunday Boulevard, located at the northern end of Hamilton Island, a popular tourist destination. It is nearly 55km from the Queensland coast.
On Monday, June 20, Robbie Morgan hired a golf buggy to drive on the island. While he was driving, Marina was sitting in the passenger seat, and reportedly she was not wearing the seatbelt.
Around 4:30 pm, their gold craft’s battery drained. After noticing that, Robbie tried to take a U-turn as he wanted to go back before the vehicle stopped moving. As he was making the U-turn, the buggy flipped over.
While the 30-year-old husband left the vehicle without a scratch, Marina got severely injured. The bystanders, including a doctor, dentist, and off-duty firefighter, instantly ran towards the cart and pulled the lady out.
Marina was completely unconscious, so the three off-duty men tried to resuscitate her; they performed CPR to bring her back to consciousness. But after trying everything for nearly 35 minutes, the doctor eventually declared her dead.
Daily Mail reported that while they were trying CPR, a call for help was also made, and a rescue helicopter was on its way to take the woman to the hospital, but she couldn’t make it nonetheless and died on the spot.
The next day, on Tuesday, June 21, a press conference was held, and a spokesperson from Queensland Ambulance Service told the media,
“She was in cardiac arrest and along with a number of first aiders on the island performed resuscitation for 35 minutes without success.”
“When paramedics arrived, the patient had been removed from the roadway and placed to the side of the road and … in the lateral position to clear her airway, which is absolutely fantastic for first aiders to do.” Said Graeme McIntyre from the Ambulance Service.
While talking to the media officials, Queensland Police Inspector Anthony Cowan said,
“It just appears inexperience in driving that type of vehicle, turned too quick and rolled on its side, and unfortunately, it has ended up with this result.”
After investigating the whole scene, the Police officers declared that there was no dangerous driving or alcohol involved.
“It was just a tragic accident with a golf buggy,” Inspector Cowan said.
Hamilton Island confirmed the tragedy and released its statement on Tuesday.
“Our deepest thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of the woman involved in this tragic incident.”
“Golf buggies are required to be operated in accordance with Queensland Road rules and requirements on Hamilton Island.
Our highest priority is the safety and wellbeing of our guests, residents, and staff, and we are working closely with Queensland Police to investigate the incident.” The statement said.
